Who we are
Storefolk is a small, independent studio with one job: build Shopify themes that move product, not just display it. No theme farm, no fifty-niche catalog — we pick one kind of store, learn how it actually sells, and build the theme that store deserves.
Why "folk"
The merchants we build for are independent by choice. They don't have a growth team or an agency retainer; they have a product they believe in and a store they run themselves. "Folk" is those people. Every default in our themes — the sticky buy bar, the native subscription blocks, the metafield-driven sections you edit without code — exists so an independent merchant can run a serious store without hiring one.
How we work
One niche at a time. Stamina, our first theme, is built for supplements and sports nutrition stores — not adapted to them after the fact. Performance is a measurable, not an adjective: we publish real Lighthouse scores and treat them as part of the product. And our themes are sold exclusively on the Shopify Theme Store, which means they pass Shopify's review, every version.
Where we come from
We came to Shopify after years of building themes for other platforms. That history taught us the two things this catalog is built on: merchants remember how a theme performs long after they forget how the demo looked, and support answered by the people who wrote the code beats a ticket queue every time.
